Marketing images leaked this weekend seem to show an Xbox One with no slot in the front and Microsoft were indeed planning to release a disc-free Xbox One console this year.
According to WinFuture, the disc-free “Xbox One S All Digital” will feature three pre-installed titles and be almost identical to its predecessors in looks and hardware — except for the fact that it will lack a disc drive.
The Xbox One S (also code named Xbox Maverick) will be available in the brand’s signature white variant.
The console will reportedly launch on 7 May 2019, and cost prospective gamers about £199 with one controller included.
The upcoming Microsoft gaming console will arrive with a storage capacity of 1TB along with three games. These games will include Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and Forza Horizon 3.
Microsoft is expected to officially reveal the device on 16 April 2019 on an inside xbox stream at 10 BST.
